Next Monday I'll be awarding a lucky winner a $10.00 Amazon Gift Card! To enter to win just answer the question. For each question you answer during the week your name will go into the drawing! Answer all 5 questions and you'll get 5 entries!

Today question is...

Where were you when you received your first kiss?

I was sixteen and at my family's summer house on the boat of the boy that I swooned over. We were just floating on the lake and I was sitting on his lap when he kissed me.

Here's a snippet from the Prologue:

“Come on, Savannah, you have to go with us.”
“I really don’t want to, and besides, we’re only nineteen,” Savannah replied as she lay on her bed, propped up on her elbows, talking on the phone with her best friend.
“You’re going to be twenty next week. Live a little,” Nichole whined.
“How are we going to get into a club?”
“Fake IDs,” Nichole countered. Savannah rolled her eyes when she heard Nichole take a deep breath. “Van, you really need to get out there and meet people, mainly a guy. It’s been over a year since Lance moved, it’s time you moved on.” Her tone was firm but gentle.
Savannah winced at the mention of his name. Yes, it had been over a year. Well, technically it had been five hundred and sixty-eight days since Lance Peterson had moved out of the state, taking her heart with him. They’d started dating their sophomore year of high school and had been inseparable. They’d talked about marriage, kids, and growing old together. But his family moved the summer after graduation, leaving her heartbroken. After everything they had meant to each other, Lance shattered her soul when he cut all ties with her, leaving her devastated and alone.

  1. I was 15 visiting a close friend of my boyfriend's with him...I had just admitted I had never kissed a guy...so before I went home he made sure that he kissed me...it wasn't some right of passage or fireworks moment...but I most definitely got of my fear and practised lots and lots after that!

  2. I'd just turned 13 and was at a dance, when a boy who liked me stole a kiss. It was wet and sloppy and bloody awful. Fortunately, it only lasted a second (and fortunate for him he was such a sweet guy, who happened to be incredibly shy, or I'd have kneed him in the nuts J/S).

My first real proper kiss occurred a year and a half later (yes, it took me that long to get over the 1st one) and was with my first serious boyfriend, who I was head-over-heels for. We were in the ocean and it was perfect and magical and made me tingle all the way to my toes.
