My New WiP: To Serve & Protect

If you read my debut novella Obsession you've already met my hero Anthony Stevens. He's the father of Alexandria Stevens-Smyth.

Anthony is forty-seven, divorced, and a NYC Detective. He's spent his life serving his community and protecting it's people.

To Serve & Protect
(here is a brief unedited summary)

The case was closed, so why did she still haunt him?

Anthony Stevens just closed a case involving one of New York’s prestigious party planners, Vivian Styles.  What he didn’t expect was to be drawn to the much younger victim. Anthony is forty-eight and a grandfather. Deep down he knows he can’t pursue her.  Vivian is young, beautiful, and sophisticated, why would she want a divorced detective when she could have any man she wanted?

A chance encounter  a few months later with Vivian at a coffee shop could change everything.  Does Vivian feel the the connection between them also? Will Anthony give into his feelings and pursue a relationship with her. How will Alexandria feel about her father dating a woman two years older then her?

This takes place between the last chapter and Epilogue of Obsession.

Here is how I envision Anthony...

Here is my Vivian...

If you haven't read Obsession....

Is there anywhere safe when you're the object of someone's obsession?

Within a few short weeks she meets a fan, and they become fast friends…or that’s what Alex thinks. When Alex finds herself being stalked, the person she least suspects is her new friend Jillian. What she doesn’t know is that Jillian has been obsessed with her for years. She wants everything Alex has, even her husband.
