Today I'm giving six from a chapter I needed to insert in the beginning of the book.

Alex heard Hudson pull up, she couldn’t wait to see him. She smiled when she heard the back door opened, her heart then sank when she heard Hudson yelling into his cell phone. Alex knew from past experience that he would be tied up on the call for most of the afternoon. She watched as he gave her a half smile and headed towards his office. Alex wrapped up the sandwiches and placed them in the fridge then headed to her study to get some work down. She sat there staring at her computer screen disappointed that the afternoon she planned with her husband was taken from her.

See you next Sunday with 6 more sentences from Obsession!

Here is peek into After the Sunset

They arrived at the beach and lay their blanket down in what Amber called ‘the perfect spot. Kim just rolled her eyes; she really didn’t see why this spot was better than any other place on the beach. They got settled and enjoyed their day lazily laying in the sun and people watching. Kim thought she noticed the lifeguard glancing in their direction. She was sure he must be looking at Amber, because she was just a simple looking girl. She was five foot three, light brown wavy hair, hazel eyes, and a small frame. She felt her breasts were too small, and she hated that her body really didn't have any curves. At nineteen, she hoped her body would've been more developed. She watched out of the corner of her eye the beautiful blonde lifeguard scan the crowd as she pulled her hair up into a bun.

“Amber, I think that blonde lifeguard over there likes you, he keeps looking over here,” Kimberly said, as she nudged her friend out of her sleepy state.

“Who? What? Where?” Amber replied eagerly.

“Over there.”  Kim pointed just as the beautiful blonde turned his head and caught her pointing at him. Kim hoped and prayed that the earth would open up and swallow her whole.

“Um, Kimberly, I think the hot lifeguard likes you.” Amber giggled.

“I... I don't think so. No one's ever interested in me.”

“Kim, stop it. You are beautiful. For some reason you have never understood that.”

Kim rolled her eyes at her best friend. “There is no way he would be interested in me, just look at him. He could have any girl here.”

“Yes, he could, but he seems to have his eyes on you.”

Meet Drew from Lacey Wolfe's novella Fool Me Once...

Hi, I’m Drew. Some of you might know me or will know me from the novella Fool Me Once. I worry I may have gotten a bad rap and I just wanted to clear the air.

Yes, I left Skylar alone in a hotel room after a great weekend with her. And I do mean great. *wink wink* And yes, I didn’t call her or anything after that weekend. I very much regret it. From the moment I first kissed Skylar, I knew she was the one. She was going to change everything for me. And it scared the shit out of me. My whole life flashed before me and suddenly all I saw were baby strollers, bottles, a golden retriever, and all that family sort of stuff. Panic set in for sure. So, I ran. And I didn’t mean to just stop talking to her. But then a week went by and then it was two and before I knew it, I knew I couldn’t contact her. Too much time had passed and if you know Skylar, then you know she would have cussed me as far as she could. So, I decided to try and move on. I casually started to see Francesca, knowing it wouldn’t go anywhere. She didn’t really want me and I didn’t want her. But, don’t hold too much against her, Francesca isn’t as bad as she seems. It’s just going to take a very special man to help her see that money isn’t everything.

Well, as soon as Skylar entered my life again, I knew I couldn’t let her go and I had to do whatever it took to get her back. So, that’s what I did. She didn’t make it easy, that’s for sure. And she still doesn’t. Skylar is never going to let me forget what I did. Sure, she’s forgiven, but she hasn’t forgotten. She keeps me in line and I’m loving every moment with her. I made a mistake, but many of us do at some point, right? I just had to make it right again between Skylar and I. I had to show her I could stick around and be that man she wanted. Now the thought of baby strollers and all that aren’t too scary. In fact, I’m sort of looking forward to it all. Now, to just convince Skylar.

About the author

Lacey Wolfe has always had a passion for words, whether it’s getting lost in a book or writing her own. From the time she was a child she would slip away to write short stories about people she knew and fantasies she wished would happen. It has always been her dream to be a published author and with her two children now of school age, she finally has the time to work on making her dream come true.
Lacey lives in Georgia with her husband, son and daughter, their six cats and one black lab who rules the house.

You can find Lacey at the following places:

Fool Me Once

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice…
Drew is the last person Skylar wanted to see across from her at a local bar. A month ago he'd wined and dined her all weekend, leaving her feeling fully in love, but then she awoke alone in an empty hotel room and she hadn't heard from him since.

The weekend Drew spent with Skylar was phenomenal. There had never been anyone who made him feel as complete as she did. He shouldn't have disappeared, he should have called, but his feelings for her scared him, so he distanced himself. But when he saw her again, he knew he couldn't stay away any longer.
Skylar's determined not to give Drew another chance to hurt her, but he's just as determined to win her back. Although it won't be easy, he's up to the challenge, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish his goal.

Home Sweet Home....

I had a wonderful Christmas with in-laws. It's just good to be home.

I need to unpack, do a mountain of laundry, grocery shop, and somewhere in there find time to write.

I wanted to share with you the gift that made me cry and touched my heart this Christmas.

I collect Willow Tree Angels, my sister-in-law bought me the Love of Learning figurine.

She holds a book, her saying is Open books, open minds.

This gift made me cry, because of the meaning behind the gift. She is proud of me for going after my dream.

As all of you know it's a long road with many bumps to becoming a published author, but I would go through it all over again in a heartbeat!

Never give up on your dreams, make 2012 the year your dreams come true!!

Happy Holidays... here is a Christmas free read

First of all I want to thank you  all of you for the amazing support you have showed me this year. It's been a wild few months. I wanted to give you all a gift, so I wrote this little story.

Santa Baby

Tina is going through the normal Christmas Eve ritual with her four-year old twins. The only difference is that her husband is overseas this year.  Can a note that her little girl wrote to Santa and some special prayers give Tina and her family a Merry Christmas?

The holidays were always filled with happiness and laughter for me, but not this year. My husband Colin was overseas. I knew it was selfish of me to feel bitter; he was fighting for mine and every American’s freedom. I went through the ritual that I’d become accustomed to over the years. The kids and I made cookies; we sang carols, and I read T’was the Night Before Christmas. Kali made sure to leave cookies out for Santa and Jeffery set out a glass of milk. I smiled as I watched my four-year old twins prepare for Santa to come. I was surprised when I saw Kali place a note inside her stocking. I made a mental note to read them later.

“Okay, it’s time for bed,” I announced and rolled my eyes at their moans and groans.

"Mommy can we say special prayers tonight?” Kali asked.

“Of course. A special prayer for who?

“Well, I asked Santa for daddy to come home, but maybe I should pray for that also.”

‘It doesn’t work that way,” Jeffery snapped.

“Jeffery, I think what your sister has suggested is a great idea.” I tried to put as much hope and sincerity as I could in my tone, but I knew, deep down, no amount of praying would bring their daddy home for Christmas.

“Off to bed, all good girls and boys go to bed on Christmas Eve without any argument. Remember Santa is watching.”

Before long, I had them both tucked in and prayers were said. My heart broke because I knew they would go unanswered. I walked to the kitchen to pour myself a much needed glass of wine. I relaxed in the recliner as I stared at the Christmas tree. My mind wandered to past Christmases when Colin and I would put the gifts under the tree and snuggle in this very recliner as we whispered how much we loved each other before retiring to the bedroom to make love. I sighed as I placed my empty glass of wine down and went to get the gifts for the twins.

After placing the gifts under the tree, I went to stuff the stockings. I filled up Jeffery’s then remembered that Kali put a note in hers, fishing out the note, I opened it feeling a little guilty for invading her privacy, but after all I am ‘Santa’. I opened the note, and a tear ran down my cheek.

Santa,
Please bring my daddy home for Christmas. Mommy is so sad all the time. I just want to see her smile.
Kali

My poor sweet daughter was worried about my happiness. I needed to hide how sad I was better. I wiped away my tears, placed the note in the pocket of the red dress I was wearing, and filled her stocking. I sat down with another glass of wine and flipped through the stations. I curled up under a throw and watched It's a Wonderful Life.
A loud sound startled me awake from my sleep. Looking around I realized it was from the tv. I grabbed the remote, turning it off when I noticed it was two in the morning. I was about to get up when I heard a noise. Fear went through my body. Was someone in my house? I had to protect my children. Slowly, I got up and walked towards the hall closet to grab the baseball bat I kept in there, and I crouched down and hid in the corner.

My heart was pounding as I heard heavy footsteps heading towards me. I swallowed hard and raised the bat above my head. I was ready to strike when I looked up and saw Colin in a Santa suit with an arm full of gifts.

“Oh my God, Colin!” I screamed as I dropped the bat and launched myself into his arms causing him to drop all the gifts.

“Tina, sorry I scared you. I just wanted to surprise you and the kids. I missed you, baby.”

“Shut up and kiss me.” I demanded as I hitched my right leg up around his hip.

“With pleasure.” He groaned before his sweet, warm lips met mine.

I pulled away and looked into his eyes. “I can’t believe you’re here. That you’re real.”

“Merry Christmas,’ he whispered before his lips met mine once again.

We quickly became overwhelmed and lost in each other’s touch. In no time at all, I was laying naked and panting next to the tree as Colin worshiped my body with his hands, and mouth, bringing me incredible pleasure.

“Colin, I need you now. It's been too long.”

He groaned as he kissed his way up my stomach, stopping to suck each nipple into his mouth.

“God, I’ve missed your body,” he whispered as he slid into me, filling me completely. We began to move together in perfect sync as the emotions of the last twenty minutes hit me. Tears ran down my face as my body trembled in pleasure. Colin’s thrusts became harder and faster, pushing me closer to my release.

“Colin,” I moaned.
“So close,” he grunted as his hand slid between us.

“God,” I cried as he rubbed my clit causing me to fall over the edge. My body shook as my orgasm rushed throughout my body.

“Tina… God… baby,” he shouted as he released deep within me.

He collapsed next to me panting, pulling me towards him. Tears of happiness and contentment rolled down my face. He leaned down and kissed them away before he whispered “I’m home, baby.” He kissed me again gently. “I’m home for good.”

Meet the Author... Ella Jade

I'm happy to be hosting Ella Jade on my blog today. Her M/M Book Embracing the Unexpected released yesterday.

Sometimes love can be found where we least expect it.

When Parker Phillips, a successful attorney, has a confrontation with his friend Ava's abusive boyfriend, he finds himself facing assault and battery charges, and he's ordered to attend an anger management course. Parker, who has never been attracted to a man, is drawn to Dr. Jace Cross, the psychiatrist leading the class. But how can that be, since Parker is straight?

Jace accepted the fact that he was gay many years ago, and he's comfortable in his sexuality, but he's been single for some time now. He throws himself into his work to fill the lonely void.

Although sparks fly whenever they're together, Parker's reluctant to embrace these feelings he has for another man.

Can the sexy doctor help him discover who he truly is?

I have read Embracing the Unexpected. This book of course is very sexy and steamy, but Miss Jade does take you on an emotional rollercoaster with Parker and Jace. I fell in love with both of them instantly. Parker has a best friend Ava, who I adore and in my opinion she is a scene stealer.

Here is an excerpt:

How far was Jace willing to take this? He was comfortable in his sexuality and had known he was gay ever since high school. He had no problem exploring this relationship, but he wasn't sure what Parker wanted. Up until now, Jace only had relationships with men who were open with their sexuality. He'd never had to ask a potential partner if they were into men.

Jace sat on the edge of the chaise lounge, but never expected Parker to sit in the small space with him. He could have sat anywhere else in the room. That had to mean something, didn't it? They were close enough that their thighs were pressed against one another and their shoulders were touching. Parker had his hand in his lap, so Jace reached out and placed his hand on top of it. Parker looked down at their joined hands, and Jace could feel how tense his body was.

"Jace," he said. "This is all new to me."

"I know." He tilted Parker's chin up with his free hand. "But you can feel it."

He nodded and Jace felt a sense of relief. If Parker realized there could be something between them then that was half the battle.

"I've been trying to fight it all week," Parker said. "But when you're close to me, I forget why I'm trying to fight it."

"Maybe you should just go with what you're feeling." Jace wanted to encourage him, but he didn't want to push.

"I had a really good time tonight," Parker admitted. "And I want to see you again."

Jace leaned closer, never taking his eyes away from Parker's or removing his hand from his. He could feel Parker's warm breath on his mouth and his eyes looked so inviting.

"You're going to have to go slower than you're used to," Parker said.

"Slow can be good." Jace smiled as he brushed his lips against Parker's jaw, moving toward his mouth. Parker looked down and Jace sensed his embarrassment, but he couldn't help himself, so he slowly moved his lips against his. They were so soft and warm, and he wanted to explore more of him, but he didn't want to rush him.

He couldn't take it anymore. He had to deepen the kiss. He needed more, so he moved his hand over Parker's shoulder and up to the back of his head, pushing him closer to him as he slipped his tongue inside his mouth. Parker briefly reciprocated and Jace thought he'd blow his load from the taste of him, but then Parker pressed his hand against his chest and tried to push him away.

"I don't—" Parker was breathless, and although the man looked conflicted he didn't move his lips away from Jace's.

"You don't what?" Jace whispered against his mouth as he pressed his forehead to his and played with the hair at the nape of his neck.

"It's just different," Parker admitted. "But I like it." He shifted in his seat, and Jace knew exactly what he was feeling. He was sure Parker was just as hard as he was.

"Parker," he mumbled against his lips. "I'm willing to wait for you, so why don't you relax and let's see where this goes?"

Naughty Little Bedtime Stories

Happy Monday!! I wanted to share with you my new book idea.

Naughty Little Bedtime Stories.

This book will contain 15 short stories ranging from 1000 - 1200 words each.

It will have a mixture of fantasy, erotica, light bondage, and menage.

I currently have submitted a sample manuscript to a publisher. I'll keep you posted.

Here is a sample from one of the stories...

Giving In

I tilted my head so I could look at him, “What I'm in the mood for... can't be found on TV,” I said seductively as my lips roamed his neck.

He moaned and threw the remote on the floor. Before I knew it, my back hit the sofa and he was hovering over me.

“You have no idea how much I want you.” He leaned down and claimed my lips. “Do you trust me?” He whispered against my skin.

“Yes, of course.”

“Bedroom, now,” he demanded.

We found ourselves in his dimly lit bedroom, our hands and lips all over each other. He pulled my sundress over my head and tossed it, my bra disappearing next. He unbuttoned his jeans and slid them off. All that was left between us was his boxers and my thong.

“Crystal, do you still trust me?” he asked, as his hands roamed my breasts.

“Yes,” I responded, breathlessly.

“Don't move. I will be right back,” he crooned.

I stood there panting, watching as he went over to his drawer and pulled out two black silk scarves. My heart sped up and a wave of arousal swept through my body in anticipation of what he had in mind. His eyes met mine and I nodded that I was okay with this. He slowly walked toward me, gauging my reaction.

“Relax baby.” He placed one scarf over my eyes and tied it behind my head. “I would never hurt you,” he whispered in my ear before he dropped to his knees.

I felt him run his nose over my thong. “Heavenly, you smell heavenly.” He then placed butterfly kisses just above the waistband. “Place your hands behind your back, baby.”

I did as I was told and he took the scarf and bound my hands while he kissed and licked my stomach and took off my thong.

“Is this okay?”

            “Yes.”

“I'm going to make you come so hard on my tongue, baby,” he moaned, as he removed my thong. “Spread your legs for me and stand as still as you can.

I nodded.

“Good girl.”

I let out a primal moan as I felt his tongue slide through my folds. “Victor!” He moved my legs father apart, as he inserted a finger into me, slowly pumping me as his tongue licked and flicked my clit. I wanted to move my hands and touch him, but I was bound. “Fuck,” I screamed, as he inserted another finger. He pumped his fingers in and out as his tongue hit my clit over and over causing my body to tremble. I could feel my legs getting weak and my stomach muscles tighten.

“Morning, please tell me you didn’t stay home to babysit me?” Alex asked as she poured herself a cup of coffee.

“Not exactly, I have a proposition for you.”

“I love it when you proposition me,” she said coyly as she stirred her coffee. “By all means Mr. Smyth, proposition me way.”

Hudson laughed. “I think you are in need of a distraction Mrs. Smyth, so I thought as soon as I finish my morning conference call we could head to the beach house and spend a relaxing weekend together.”

Thanks for stopping by, see you next Sunday for 6 from chapter 6!

Shedding her clothes she ran toward the bedroom, she could sense he was right behind her. Most of the afternoon was spent in bed showing her husband how much she missed him, over and over again.
